The film explores the relationship between a mother and daughter in a moment of crisis. At the tail end of Shabbat service, a teenaged Eva, hungover and nauseous, steps out with her mother Raquel to sort through donations for the winter food drive. Moments later, Raquel answers a phone call, finding herself on the receiving end of a bomb threat, and is forced to make an unnerving choice.
